Registration is open for the 5th Annual Festival of Faith Retreat, hosted by the Metropolis of Atlanta and scheduled for May 22–24, 2026 at the Alexios Retreat Center in Salem, S.C.
This year’s theme, “Serving One Another,” draws from Matthew 5:43–48 and invites participants into a weekend of prayer, teaching, and fellowship centered on Christian hospitality, mercy, and love. Keynote speakers are Dr. Philip Mamalakis, Georgia Mamalakis, and Fr. Gregory Edwards. Session topics include navigating a polarized world, the hospitality of the heart, loving your enemies, non-retaliation, and prayer for those who persecute you.
Participants have several registration options.
- Full Registration – Lodges is listed at $200, with meals included from Friday lunch through Sunday brunch, and the event page notes a “LodgeShare” coupon code for participants sharing a lodge room.
- Full Registration – Eco Cabins is listed at $250, also including meals, with an “ECOSHARE” coupon code for shared eco-cabin accommodations.
- There also are day pass options for Friday ($100) and Saturday ($100) for those attending lectures without lodging.
For parishioners seeking spiritual renewal, thoughtful Orthodox teaching, and time away in community, the retreat offers a meaningful opportunity to step back and deepen the work of faith in daily life. Registration is available through the event’s ACTIVE page.
